[Resegone] [Refuge] [Rotary path]


The Resegone or mountain Serrada (1875 ms.) it owes his name to the typical jagged form, from the top it enjoys him of a good panorama, with the possibility to to refresh himself to the refuge Azzoni under the peak and an unbelievable variety of runs, from the strong binding to the walk in the wood.

The tops of the Resegone have been historical theater of the mountaineering lombardo, today they propose itineraries of various difficulties that coast along the different slopes. Only it is the panorama that can be enjoyed by the Plans of Erna, pleasant place to the feet of the Resegone mountain, served by a comfortable funivia where they open different possibilities of excursions: the Path nature, the strong ones, the footsteps of ski in winter.

The Resegone mountain is primarily constituted by rocks calcareous-dolomitiche, of sea origin, and he also understands bancate of very pure rock, showily exploited by the man, that has produced, and continuous to produce, wide wounds more and more in the sides of the Magnodeno Mountain to extract limestone for the industry iron and material for the housebuilding.

The panorama that is admired in the clear days by its top is grandiose and imposing: Lecco and the mountains lecchesi, the Brianza with his lakes, the Prealpis comasche and bergamasche, the Alps from the Monviso, almost evanescent over the lowland padana, the Appennineses.
