Hole of the Bear - Laglio
The Cave of the bear or Hole of the bear, the northern extremity of the commune of Laglio is found to, in the fraction of Torriggia to around 400 ms. on the level of the lake Como, it arrives climbing from Torriggia for a rather impervious path of mountain. The cave is famous for the petrified bones found again in its bowel, bones not only of bear, but of many other animals in the extinct centuries, a place of world importance for the finds found again.

The walls of the cave are covered by stalactites and stalagmites, after some meters it is begun to feel the sound of the stream that flows to its inside, after the stream the path climbs, the walls show to naked the different and following stratifications limestones; to around 200 ms. dall' entered we find a pond that occupies the whole fund of the cavern, the water of the pond has a depth from 1 to 2 meters and a constant temperature of 9°centigradi.
The Hole of the Bear for its length and for the aspect of its inside, is one of the most beautiful natural caves that is known, all the visitors go out from there full of amazement and wonder.
