Path and Excursions on the Grigna Mount

Excursions: Shelter Elisa - Shelter Brioschi | Shelter Bietti - Grignone

Rifugio (Shelter) Bietti 1719 mt. - Grignone 2409 mt. for the Sasso dei Carbonari « Ferrata » (route equipped with ropes and metal ladders). Interesting and panoramic route - time needed 2:30 - 3:00. A rope with at least two snaplinks is essential.
Follow on and, as with itinerary 15, go beyond the turn for Rifugio Elisa (track 16) and at the next crossroad, turn right. Following the track you'll reach the peak and there you follow on to the left, arriving to a tight incision where the first ladder is placed, which marks the beginning of the via ferrata (route equipped with ropes and metal ladders). Travel the entire Cresta del Sasso dei Carbonari , turning either to the left or the right of the biggest difficulties, and reach the Bocchetta di Releccio , where track 33 passes, with which you can reach the by now, nearby summit.
Rongio mt. 409- Rifugio (Shelter) Rosalba 1730 mt. Time needed: 3:30 - 4:30
From the small piazza where the road from Madello arrives, take the mule track which climbs and proceeds easily to the Cappella del Signore. There the path gets smaller, and onece past the rocky Canalino della Valletta , it turns back to climing the steep meadows which lead to the Colonne del Pescèe. Get around these towers on the left and reach the peak along which you will find Rifugio. The itinerary is difficult, but is in an environment of wild beauty.
Rifugio Rosalba 1730 mt. - Grignetta 2184 . mt. «Cecilia» track - time needed: 1:30 - 2:00 You climb with track 8A to Colle Garibaldi and go straight, leaving this track to your right, which descends toward Piani Resinellli. Get past a few passages, with fixed ropes and climb to Colle Valsecchi . Here you will leave the path to the left and descend slightly to a cliff, beyond which continues to climb following the red signs and passing different rock-climbing points. You will come across, the Alta Via route , coming from the right , with which you will proceed, arriving at the base of a steep slope, initally grassy and then rocky, which climbs up to the Cresta Cermenati where you will see track 7, which leads to the summit.
